Machismo Plus Male and Female Enhancement Supplement Reviews

By Greg Berryman, founder of Machismo Plus. Last reviewed: 4 August 2026. How we review.

This site reviews male and female enhancement supplements so you can compare formulas, disclosed dosages, and what the research supports at ingredient level before you buy.

The catalog covers ten products across erection support, semen volume, semen taste, testosterone, and female libido and arousal. Reviews are assessed on the same criteria regardless of which manufacturer makes the product.

Nothing on this site is sold directly. Each review links to the manufacturer, which is where pricing, current promotions, and guarantee terms are set.

New to the category? Start with the guide to male and female enhancement supplements, which covers how these formulas differ and what separates a disclosed dose from a proprietary blend.

Which Enhancement Supplement Should You Start With?

Most people arrive with a goal rather than a brand in mind. Find your goal below and read the formula breakdown before you decide.

Your goal Start here What the formula is
Erection quality and libido VigRX Plus 10-ingredient daily capsule from Leading Edge Health. The manufacturer cites a placebo-controlled trial on the finished formula.
A faster-acting option before intimacy Erectin Gummies Chewable nitric oxide formula. Onset is typically reported within 30 to 40 minutes.
Semen volume Semenax 17-ingredient daily capsule. The manufacturer cites a published clinical trial on the finished formula.
Semen taste SemEnhance 8-ingredient fruit and enzyme capsule built around taste rather than volume.
Testosterone support from 25 onward Testosil 11-ingredient formula anchored on KSM-66 Ashwagandha. Evidence is ingredient-level, not product-level.
Female libido, taken daily Provestra 22-ingredient daily capsule with L-arginine, Black Cohosh, and Damiana. Contains no DHEA.
Female arousal, applied topically Vigorelle Cream Herbal-blend topical cream with L-arginine, Damiana, and Wild Yam.

Undecided between them? The guide to male and female enhancement supplements covers how these formulas differ, and common ingredients used in enhancement products explains what each active does.

VigRX Plus is the most searched product in this catalog and the one with the longest track record in the category. View the current formula, pricing, and guarantee terms on the manufacturer site.

Male Enhancement Supplements Reviewed

Six male enhancement supplements across three jobs. Three target erection quality, two target semen, and one targets testosterone. They are not interchangeable, and the differences sit in the formula rather than the marketing.

VigRX Plus, Extenze, and Erectin Gummies all target erections, but through different actives and formats. VigRX Plus is a 10-ingredient daily capsule. Extenze is a daily softgel from Biotab Nutraceuticals built around yohimbe and DHEA, the only product here not made by Leading Edge Health.

Erectin Gummies is the outlier on timing. It is chewable rather than swallowed, positioned for use closer to intimacy, with onset typically reported within 30 to 40 minutes.

Semenax and SemEnhance both act on semen and are routinely confused with each other. Semenax targets volume. SemEnhance targets taste, and the two are designed to be taken together rather than as alternatives.

Testosil sits apart from all of them. It is an 11-ingredient testosterone formula anchored on KSM-66 Ashwagandha, aimed at men from 25 onward, and the supporting research is ingredient-level rather than product-level.

Each review below covers the full ingredient list, disclosed dosages, who the formula suits, and who should skip it.

Female Libido and Arousal Supplements Reviewed

Four libido and arousal supplements for women, split evenly between daily capsules and topical creams. The split matters more than the brand. Capsules build over weeks, creams are applied before intimacy and act locally.

HerSolution Capsules and Provestra are the daily options. HerSolution Capsules runs a 9-ingredient formula that includes DHEA, melatonin, and Mucuna Pruriens.

Provestra runs 22 ingredients including L-arginine, Black Cohosh, and Damiana, and contains no DHEA. That is the clearest difference between the two and the point most worth checking before choosing.

HerSolution Gel and Vigorelle Cream are the topicals. HerSolution Gel is a 60 mL water-based formula with L-arginine and menthol. Vigorelle Cream is a herbal blend with L-arginine, Damiana, and Wild Yam.

Both topicals act on local blood flow and sensation rather than on hormones, which is why they work on a different timescale from the capsules and can be used alongside them.

Men often arrive here looking for something to suggest to a partner, which is a reasonable place to start. The choice itself belongs to the woman taking it, particularly where DHEA or any hormone-adjacent ingredient is involved.

Each review below covers the full ingredient list, how the product is applied or taken, and who should avoid it. The full catalog sits on the female enhancement supplements page.

How We Review Male and Female Enhancement Supplements

Every product on this site is assessed against the same five criteria, regardless of which manufacturer makes it or which affiliate program pays the most.

  • Disclosed dosages. Whether the label states the amount of each active, or hides it inside a proprietary blend.
  • Ingredient research. What the published research supports for each active at the dose used, kept separate from what the manufacturer claims for the finished product.
  • Manufacturer track record. How long the company has operated, whether it publishes trial data, and what its guarantee terms are.
  • Safety profile. Known side effects, interactions, and the groups who should not take the product.
  • Who the formula suits. Who it fits based on what is in it, rather than who the marketing targets.

What this site does not do matters as much. No products are lab-tested here and no clinical trials are run here.

No star rating is published either, because there is no verified customer review system behind one. A rating with nothing underneath it is worth less than the ingredient breakdown it would sit on top of.

Affiliate commissions fund the site and play no part in how a product is assessed, ranked, or written about. The full method is set out in how we review.

Choosing Together

Plenty of readers arrive researching for a partner rather than for themselves. Male and female formulas are reviewed here against the same criteria, so a couple can compare both in one place.

Sexual wellness FAQs

Common Questions About Enhancement Supplements

How long do enhancement supplements take to work?

It depends on the format rather than the brand. Daily capsules work cumulatively, and manufacturers typically position 30 to 60 days as a fair window to judge one.

Fast-acting formats are different. Onset is typically reported within 30 to 40 minutes, and topical creams and gels act on local blood flow within minutes of application.

Are enhancement supplements safe?

For most healthy adults the actives in these formulas are widely used and well tolerated. The exceptions are worth knowing before you buy.

Yohimbe is the one to read carefully. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health notes that its active compound has been linked to cardiac effects and anxiety, and that yohimbine content varies widely between products. DHEA is hormone-adjacent, and several common actives interact with blood thinners and blood pressure medication.

Anyone on prescription medication should speak to a doctor before starting.

How do you avoid products with hidden ingredients?

Adulteration is a real problem in this category. The FDA maintains a running list of sexual enhancement products found to contain undeclared drug ingredients, most often unlisted PDE5 inhibitors.

Checking that list before buying anything in this category takes two minutes and is worth doing regardless of where you buy. Products that disclose every dose on the label are the safer starting point, which is why disclosed dosing is the first criterion used on this site.

Do these work like prescription erectile dysfunction medication?

No. Prescription treatments act on a specific enzyme pathway and produce a measurable effect on demand. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases sets out the treatment options a doctor would work through.

Supplements work through circulation support, nitric oxide, and hormone precursors. The effect is smaller and slower, and these products are not a substitute for medical treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Can a couple take these at the same time?

Yes. The male and female products are separate formulas built around different mechanisms, and one partner taking one has no bearing on the other.

Capsule or topical: which one should you choose?

Neither format is better in general terms. Capsules are taken daily and build over weeks, which suits ongoing libido and performance goals.

Topicals are applied before intimacy and act locally, which suits situational use. The two are commonly used alongside each other rather than as alternatives.

Why do results vary so much between people?

Baseline matters more than the formula. Age, cardiovascular health, sleep, alcohol intake, stress, and existing hormone levels all shift how much room there is for a supplement to move anything.

This is also why manufacturer timelines and customer testimonials diverge so widely from each other.

Sexual Wellness Guides and Articles

The blog covers the questions that come up either side of choosing a product: what diet changes and what it does not, how long a formula needs before it can be judged, and why a partner loses interest.

The most read piece on the site is foods that make semen taste better, covering hydration, sulfur foods, fruit, and how many days a dietary change takes to show.

If you are trying to work out whether something is working, how long sexual wellness supplements take to work sets out what each format does across days, weeks, and months.

For readers researching on a partner's behalf, does arousal gel work for women covers how topicals act and how quickly.

Where to Go Next

Ten products, two catalogs. If you know which side you are shopping, the category pages compare everything in one place.

The male enhancement supplements page covers erections, semen volume and taste, and testosterone. The female enhancement supplements page covers daily libido capsules and topical arousal creams.

If you would rather see who makes what, the brands we review page sets out each manufacturer, how long they have operated, and which products they produce.

For most men starting out, VigRX Plus is the one to look at first. It is the longest-running formula in the catalog, discloses every dose on the label, and the manufacturer cites a placebo-controlled trial on the finished product rather than on the ingredients alone.
